Primary omental torsion is a rare pathologic entity which is seldom recognized preoperatively and the most common preoperative diagnosis is the acute appendictitis. We experienced two cases of primary omental torsion whose preoperative diagnosis
was the
acute appendicitis and the other was ovarian cyst torsion. They were successfully treated by adequate surgical intervention.
